2012 Spring League

Dust off your cleats, and get ready to play some Ultimate - Spring is almost here!
Whether you're a seasoned veteran or new to the sport, come out and join in on the fun.  We have three leagues to choose from:
  • Open League - Monday Nights
  • Mixed A League - Tuesday Nights
  • Mixed B League - Thursday Nights

Registration Information:
  • Opens on March 1st
  • Closes on March 25th
  • Cost is $30 per player

Open League - Monday Nights

This league is open to all; however teams will not be required to match the gender ratio of the opposing team. To those unfamiliar with the Ultimate lingo, Open typically refers to a men’s league but it is completely acceptable and encouraged for women to participate.


Start Date: Monday April 9th 
Game Times: 6:40 - 8:10PM (Round 1); 8:20PM - 9:50 (Round 2) 
Location: Beulah Brinton Community Center - Milwaukee (Map) 
Competition Format: 7-on-7 with games to 15 points. Rules based on UPA’s 11th Edition Rules. Games will follow a Round Robin format of 6 teams followed by bracket play. 
Registration Guidelines: Participants may register in any of the following ways: Individual, Pair, or Team. Pairs can be two people of either gender. Teams must have a total of 12 people. There is no ringer rule for this league.

Mixed A League - Tuesday Nights

Players in this league will have many years of Ultimate playing experience or have played together on a team for several years with consistent success. Most players should understand the basic strategies of the game, and can consistently throw successful passes. While this description is typical for this league, it is open to anyone. Mixed B players who think they are ready to move up to the next level are highly encouraged to take that step!


Start Date: Tuesday April 10th 
Game Times: 6:40 - 8:10PM (Round 1); 8:20PM - 9:50 (Round 2) 
Location: Beulah Brinton Community Center - Milwaukee (Map) 
Competition Format: 7-on-7 (4 men & 3 women) with games to 15 points. Rules based on UPA’s 11th Edition Rules. Games will follow a Round Robin format of 6 teams followed by bracket play. 
Registration Guidelines: Participants may register in any of the following ways: Individual, Pair, or Team. Pairs can be two people of either gender. Teams must have a total of 12 people and a minimum of 5 women to be considered official. The first 4 teams completely submitted and paid will be locked. After that teams will be accepted on a case by case basis. There is no ringer rule for this league.

Mixed B League - Thursday Nights

The intent of this league is to create a relaxed and fun environment. Teams should be a mix of experienced and inexperience players. This league has a ringer rule in that no team can have more than 5 players with a skill rating of 5 or more. The League Director reserves the right to adjust player skill rankings if the self rankings are deemed inappropriate for that player.


Start Date: Thursday April 12th 
Game Times: 7:00 - 8:30PM (Round 1); 8:40PM - 10:10 (Round 2) 
Location: Rogers Park - Milwaukee (Map)
Competition Format: 7-on-7 (4 men & 3 women) with games to 15 points. Rules based on UPA’s 11th Edition Rules. Games will follow a Round Robin format of 12 teams divided into separate pools followed by bracket play. This league is intended for new or social players looking to have fun & learn how to play Ultimate.
Registration Guidelines: Participants may register in any of the following ways: Individual, Pair, or Team. Pairs can be two people of either gender. Teams must have a total of 12 people and a minimum of 5 women to be considered official. The first 6 teams completely submitted and paid will be locked. After that teams will be accepted on a case by case basis.
